Financial Toxicity” in cancer patients has been in the spotlight recently, and I thought your readers may be interested in learning about a local resource that may be able to help if they or their families are facing these challenges. Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation (ACCF) is a local 501(c)(3) organization that provides assistance to cancer patients throughout Metro Atlanta – including Rockdale County – who are dealing with financial challenges because of the disease.

I have attached a press release with a bit more information about how ACCF is addressing financial toxicity, especially through our “Making a Difference for More than 1,000” campaign. You may be particularly interested to know our Board President, Dr. Richard Carter, practices in Conyers and Health TRUST Rockdale has provided a grant for us to assist Rockdale County residents.
